NaNo TarOt?

That's right. I forgot to post a minute ago my new secret weapon. I've been reading tarot cards for years, professionally as well as for fun, and have used them periodically in my fiction but this year I'm shooting the moon! I'll be using this method to develop characters, plan my settings and beat the sticky parts into a velvety goodness.

Part of this experiment will be with the help of tarot reader/writer Corrine Kenner from Tarot for Writers. We'll be meeting online weekly (Saturdays, 9:30-10:30a CST) to talk through ideas and focus on NaNo going through her Meetups.com group. Come and join us!
It's National Novel Writing Month again!

Call us crazy, call us freaks of nature - we've heard it all before and we still come on back for another heap of fresh NaNo. Last year I failed to reach the required word count (50,000 words) to become a NaNo winner and I became a NaNo weiner. Not a pretty sight. So I've picked up the gauntlet thrown down by my Municipal Liasons, Susan and LaMishia, and will slog away at my masterpiece between November 1- November 30th.

Who's in this with me? Don't be shy! This year I think I'll do a historical new age romance with a murder twist. Okay, nobody said this had to be a bestseller...

Wish me luck, send chocolate (sugar-free) and see you on the other side!
